Kurt Vargö's Illustrations have appeared in books, magazines, annual reports, children's videos and as posters in the United States, Europe and Japan. He has won numerous awards in the Communications Arts field, and his work has appeared in prestigious trade publications including: American Illustration, Communication Arts, Big Book of Illustrations, PRINT Magazine, 3X3 Magazine/Illo. and Society of Illustrators annuals.

Vargö is a graduate of the School of Visual Arts, NYC where he majored in Painting, Printmaking and Illustration. He was a faculty member there in the Illustration Department for over twenty years.
He is a founding member of the Illustrators Partnership of America, a member of the Graphic Artists Guild and has been nominated and selected by "Who's Who Among America's Teachers" as one of the Nations most respected Professors.
